All the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are staring actor Johnny Depp. This one also stars Keira Knightley, who ends up to be the Captain of the ship. All but two characters were men, while the other woman was extremely wicked. It's needless to say, they eventually got rid of this destructive witch. This movie was action packed and I thought it was far too long. Jay enjoyed it, while I couldn't wait until it was finally over. Johnny Depp's movies, I have watched them all. And this one was my least favorite. My husband loves to watch fighting and violence on television, but I don't. This movie was not my cup of tea, for entertainment Then, we watched Freddie Flintstone's Christmas Carole movie and Freddie was Ebenezer Scrooge:) It was wonderful

Most of the movie was sword fighting and of course, pirates attacking various ships.

I watched one of the movies in the Pirates of Carribbean. It was entertaining yet at a few points, Johnny Depp seems to overact. Not seen this particular version. Is this Christmas Carole movie a recent one or from an older time? May be I can try checking on this one.

I think the Freddie Flintstone Christmas Carole is an older movie. I loved it!

@popciclecold This one had a lot of fire, cannons shooting and people getting stabbed with sabers.

It's funny how some love to see violence and devastation in films but I find it abhorrent. I guess maybe I get too involved and forget it's all make-believe.

@kobesbuddy That's how I feel. And in war films I can't help thinking that that's what it would have been like.

For myself, this acting is too real, it horrifies me!
