I belong to a group of seven girl friends. We met in grade seven in 1967. Four of them are coming to my house for lunch next week! We get together once a month, (whoever can) usually at a restaurant. It is the highlight of my month. I'm planning to make this recipe because I love it, it's a light lunch, and I can use items from my garden. https://www.canadianliving.com/food/recipe/russian-salad

If my calculations are correct, you graduated in 1972, a year behind me. It's great you get together with friends you've known since 1967. Have a great lunch next week. The salad looks delicious.

Yes. There were years when our children were small that we got together rarely. Easier now.

Oh, that is lovely! I still have friends from 7th grade, but I don't see them often because I moved away. We do keep in touch online, though!

We started getting together more once all our kids were grown. 4 still live close, I'm a bit further, someone else is further and one friend from our group lives in Europe. So, I'm excited some are making the drive to my place.
