Hello again, myLot!

An ATC I made

Went to the mailbox to take a bill and an exchange slip envelope using my cane, and wonder if I should really use it. I guess I should, but it's so slow walking with it, (took me 20 minutes to go to the mailbox and back, when normally it takes 7-10) plus on the way back I got out of rhythm and just said the heck with it. All part of the process, I guess. Right now, I need to get that hummingbird food made, and water the plants on the patio. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

It's like I told my mom about her cane. USE IT. If you get overconfident and lose it, you may not need the cane. You might need a wheelchair.

Maybe you need a walking stick more than a cane. I could be wrong. Do you have any current trouble, or is this just to prevent another fall after one previously? Walking sticks are basically just taller without a hook. I know a guy who does a lot of walking (he’s around 60), and it used to be just when he walked over uneven terrain, but he liked how sure footed he felt when walking with it all the time. It didn’t slow him down at all. I mean he walks A LOT. My legs hurt thinking about it.

Hm. That sounds like a good plan. This cane thing just doesn't seem to be for me.
