Ihave to confess that I am a rockhound. I love rocks. I collected them growing up in the Southwest but people find rocks everywhere.
There are a lot of different rocks to find. I like fossils and small bits of petrified wood. There are quartz, agate, turquoise, gold, and many more.
It is fun to collect sea glass and use it for decorations. You see it even on the shores of lakes, you don't need to only look at ocean beaches.
Are you a rockhound? Do you know any rockhounds? Do you collect other things?

I enjoy a good looking rock, or 2 or 3.

@snowy22315 How exciting! Do you know what kind of fossils were there? Were they small or big?

Yes, I love rocks! And the larger they are, the more I love them:)

@kobesbuddy You can always have a rock garden. Succulents do well in a rock garden. What did you use the rock for at your last home? Was it decoration or something more?

Yup, another thing I missed from when I lived in Latvia, I don't get out much but there I had rocks connect with me on roads and I had quite a collection, So far I have found only one rock in Florida,

@akalinus they can be any rocks but when I would see them they would speak kind of to me and then I would pick them up. I have a sack of regular rocks at home for which I was hoping to try rock painting but have never gotten around to it,

We used to do a lot more when we were younger. I've stopped collecting now that we're trying to downsize. Have a great day.

Not rocks;but I love to collect smooth;shining;geometrically shaped pebbles.Till a few years back I had found one from the river bank when I had been to a city at the bank of river "Narmda".Now where it is;I have no idea.We would play with those pebbles.

@Shivram59 That is an interesting thought. You seem like a caring person. I don't have many rocks anymore, just a small collection to remind myself of those rockhound days. I hope my rocks are not sad.

@akalinus They are colorful;smooth and shining.I would love them. But often I would feel myself guilty and think the pebbles I had collected from the river bank were crying.I had separated them from their parents.
