Trying to save money on your energy bills? Stop Watt is a small device with big claims. Made by Elon musk and the notable Tesla Corporation, Stop Watt Claims to save up to 95 percent on electricity. The ad showed a $1600 dollar electric bill go down to 40.00. Thinking of buying one. But see ads that say it's a scam. Not sure to risk 89.00. Or 100 for two

Deffently a huge scam. Scammers often use big names that most people would trust to promote their fake product. There is no such a device that can cut your eletric bill. That's not how watage works.

@JimmyDeen She didn't. That was likely photo shopped. Someone found a public image of Ellen posing and transposed it so it looked like she was endorsing the product.
Do you know how eletricty works, and how your eletric bill is coculated?

@jaylar I can't afford Tesla, but I know people who have one and I rode In one. Seemed like a nice car.

@JimmyDeen Hmm. Electricity is only consumed when it is delivered. If nothing is in the outlet, the electricity cannot flow on its own.

It's supposed to stop extra electricity from coming into the house.

Sometimes it's an over dramatization. It may save some but not 85 percent
