I was seriously tempted

This echidna, also known as a spiny ant-eater, and bilby (I think it’s a bilby) were in the tourist centre in Narrogin, Western Australia. They seemed to be made of wood but I’m not sure they were as they were so light. I thought they were very well made and if I were still collecting things, I might have been tempted to buy one. As it was, I just took photos and left them there.

They definitely look tempting. I'd have bought at least some of them.

I didn't look at the price so I have no idea if they were expensive or not.

They are well made and even I would be tempted to buy them. They do look heavy considering that they are made with wood. I assume that it's some light wood and it must be hollow within

It must be a very light wood or perhaps some other material.

I still remember decades ago, Steve Irwin introducing us to the echidna. What a cutie!

@AmbiePam He was so 'in your face' so wasn't really appreciated until he was well-established in the USA.

@JudyEv Americans weren’t used to that, but we thought it was kind of charming. Kind of like, I want to be that excited about something!

I don't know what material they use to get that wood-like finish but it's very attractive. It's so light I don't think it can be wood.

It surely looks quite lovely. I'd have loved to get one. And also take photos It does look really beautiful and gorgeous cute little thing. Well, you didn't buy it. But did you ask what the cost of the product is?

Because I didn't want to buy one, I didn't ask the price. Most things had a price on them but these didn't. Maybe they weren't for sale.

I couldn't see a price on them and I didn't want to buy one so I didn't ask. But I think they would be expensive.

My shelves are much too cluttered really although I've been in houses where there are more than I have.
