Today I went shopping down town again. Before I went out I told Syd I was going down town, and asked him if he wanted anything. He said to get the Chinese style chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken and a paella like I sometimes get from Iceland on a Friday. My weather app said sunny with no chance of rain, so I didn't take a coat. I went round the top path round Stowe Pool as usual. Then I went to the toilet by the Cathedral. Somebody had propped the door open with one of those door stop wedges, so I didn't have to struggle to open the door! After I'd been to the toilet, I went to the Oxfam shop to offload my big bag of charity donations. Then I went to the photo shop and got some more photos printed. There was a lady there printing 9 photos from her phone. It was taking a long time! She started before me and all 14 of my photos had uploaded before 5 of hers had! Every time a photo of hers uploaded her phone made a celebratory noise! I only uploaded 14 photos to the machine because I wanted 2 of one photo, so that made 15. I'd finished printing my photos before the lady's photos had uploaded! Next I went to the post office to post my paintings for the London Art Course. I put it as tracked. I also got 12 first and 12 second class stamps. When I'd done that I went to the magazine section. (The Post Office is inside WH Smith.) I got 2 art magazines, both dedicated to watercolour, but one is dedicated to landscapes in watercolour. I paid for them at the self service machine. Then I went to Holland and Barrett and I managed to get some raspberry flavoured liquorice! It's been ages since I've been able to get my favourite brand of those! I also got some raspberry lemonade flavoured kombucha. I got some ginger and lemon flavour from the big Tesco on Wednesday, but I found it too strong and sharp! I've chucked it down the sink. I won't be getting that flavour again! After that I went to the pharmacy to get my repeat prescription. Then I went to the St Giles charity shop opposite the Garrick Theatre. I wanted to get a present for my friend Yasmin to do with the March of the Elephants. I wanted to get another knitted elephant, but they were all out of knitted elephants so I got a keyring instead. They'd moved their small elephants that were in there, they're now both by the window. Next I went back through Tudor Row, and I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral. Then I went into the Cathedral and gave them a donation of £1. I went straight to the Cathedral gift shop, which is where the Eternal Life elephant is, and I got a card for my Mum with a verse from the Bible on it from the Psalms about God being your strength. I got 3 fridge magnets with pictures of tue big elephants in and outside of Lichfield Cathedral. There are one of each side of the Eternal Life elephant, and one of the Staffie elephant that is outside of Lichfield Cathedral. I also got an elephant themed art set. Then I went to Beacon Park and photographed two more elephants in there. (See picture above.) I can't remember what they're called right now, but I'll go and check and then come back and edit this here with the names of them. Edit:- They are called Fruity Frida (above) and Mighty Oak. There's one more elephant in Beacon Park but he's over by the car park entrance to Beacon Park, and I don't know where that is. I didn't want to go trapesing through Beacon Park looking for him. After that I went to Iceland and got the things that Syd wanted (see paragraph one), and some strawberries. When I'd payed for those I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral and then I set off for home. I was walking round Stowe Pool when I saw Mum's friend Frances, so I was standing and chatting to her for a while. A guy with a westie doggy came by and Frances was admiring his doggy and she told him so, and they had a chat about the price of dogs, and stuff. Frances was watching the Grebe on Stowe Pool. She's pleased the Grebe are back. Eventually I continued on my way home, and Frances continued on to town. When I got home I took my shoes and socks off my aching feet, and put on my house socks. Then I went to the toilet (again) and then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Now I'm sitting with my feet up watching telly, but I've got to start and get my dinner on soon! What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Oh, yes, it was a busy day. I was shattered when I got home! Apparently my Mum has got either gall stones or kidney stones. Someone's saying one thing, and someone else is saying another. Either way, it doesn't sound nice.

I know! I love these elephants. It'll be a shame when they are taken down. They will be auctioned off in September.
