Your package has been delivered

That is the email I received from Bloomingdale’s. It was for a pair of sneakers that was actually delivered to me August 21st. I don’t understand why the email was sent today instead of on the day that the package was actually delivered.
For a second there, I thought I had ordered something else, and was about to go downstairs to check, only to realize I didn’t order anything else.

It doesn’t make sense to send someone a delivery confirmation email many days after the delivery was made.

Maybe it was a technical glitch or a delay in sending emails.

It could be a spoofed e-mail. One designed to look like a conformation e-mail, but is designed to take you to a fishing site.

It is actually from them. It told me exactly what I ordered, the order number and date, how much I paid, my address, etc. They usually send the delivery confirmation email when package gets delivered but I never got one until today.

@lovebuglena If you still have older e-mails from them I'd make sure it's ligit. You'd be amazed what scammers can find on the web. Or what bug they can exploit.

@kaylachan I checked the order confirmation email. The actual email address on the delivery confirmation is the same as in the order one.
