Firefighters in Indiana rescue a horse who was trapped on top of a farmer's fence

Firefighters from the Yorktown Indiana Fire Department answered an emergency call from the owner of a horse who tried to jump over a gate but ended up stuck halfway.
The firefighters used cutters and spreaders to cut the fence so that the horse could be free from being trapped over the fence safely.
The good news is that the horse was not injured after the firefighters were able to rescue the horse safely.

How in the world did the horse manage to do that??? The fence must have been too tall for the horse, I hope he will be OK,

That all sounds a bit of a horsey story.
I wonder why the horse couldn't lift up its legs, and free itself.
Maybe it was spooked by its position.
