I don't have a light in the bedroom

Well at least not one that is currently working. When I moved here my ex bought me 2 torch-style lamps--one for the front room and one for the bedroom. Okay. That was fine. My mattress was along one side of the wall so I plugged it into the outlet that was linked to the switch on the wall.
Well when my neighbor moved and gave me her bedroom furniture she had 2 of her guy friends bring everything over here. They put the sleigh bed on the exact opposite wall that the mattress had been on covering up the outlet. A different neighbor and I struggled and struggled to move the bed a bit away from the wall so I could plug in my CPAP and table fan. Well they take up the 2 outlets.
So the lamp is sitting in the corner of the room. The other outlets are blocked by a ginormous dresser. Oh well. It isn't much of a big deal. I sleep with the hall light on. During work I lay out my clothes the night before. I'm sure people think that it is weird that I don't have a working light in the bedroom. I don't have an alarm clock for that matter either.

I hope you can sleep well with your door open because you are using the hall light.

I hate that when the outlets are blocked..I have one blocked in my bedroom here, but it is the only choice I have to put the bed..no other place for it.
