30 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 80 F and another day the weathermen didn't get it right. Our high was supposed to be 77 F with thunderstorms. No storms either.
It's been a good day. I spent most of the day working on Guns of War. I'm writing and should finish the book by tomorrow. When I got to the end of what I had, it suddenly got exciting. I knew where to go with the story and how to bring about the ending. I love it when I finish another book.
I'm also thankful for the time I spent here with you. It's always good to know how you're doing in your corner of the world. MyLot brings us together in so many good ways. I want you to know I will be thinking about you and praying for you when I leave. I will be back. I don't know when or how often. We have formed many valuable friendships. Thank you.

I am thankful for the nice weather. It got ht, again, but not unbarably hot until well after we got home. I'm thankful the day went smoothly, We hit all our stops, and managed to get home in one piece. I also earned 84 hilton honors points for our travels. Something else to be thankful for. Plus discounts.
