On my ride home from church with my friend, I was talking to her about my chest pain.
She said that I should ask my doctor for a chest x-ray, since none of the EKGs or any other stuff they've tried have turned up anything.
I have my next appointment with my doctor on the ninth of this month, so I've got to be ready and tell her I'd like a chest x-ray, since none of these other tests they've done have turned up anything. Hopefully I'll be able to get it.

You can also go to the ER and tell them you have chest pains, they'll automatically do a chest x-ray. If you don't want to wait.

I've done that, and all they did was give me an EKG.

@xstitcher They always give me a chest xray. But I have pre exhisting conditions. You can ask them to give you an xray because you are worried and they should give it to you

You would think they would do a chest xray first as it likely is less expensive to do. I hope they figure it out.

You should. If they've ruled out everything else that sounds like the next logical step.

Mentioning the chest x-ray to your doctor sounds like a smart move, especially since other tests haven’t shown anything. Is your doctor a cardiologist? It might be helpful to consult one if the issue persists. I hope you get the answers you’re looking for.

I hope you are able to get a chest xray. My husband has afib and it took them 30 years to catch it.
