Lake Turkana, Kenya's largest lake is posing a big threat to over 10 villages after its water have increased unusually. It is alleged that Omo river, a seasonal river from Neighboring Ethiopia has been recently increasing the amount of water it brings to the lake. Over 1,500 people have so far been displaced according to media reports. We hope a solution is reached soon.

The weather has definitely changed over the last few years. We have had much more flooding than usual although not in the area where I live.
