Sleep Deprived.

The past days I was sleep deprived mainly because of the typhoon. I wake up at night when the rain is pouring heavy and strong. I have to check on our house if there are leaks. I only find one thank God and it is not big or anything.

The storm we were expecting was downgraded so all we are experiencing is a bit of rain. . I also have a leak in my roof.

It's good that it downgraded. Ours was from monsoon rain plus still the effect of the typhoon that just passed by here

Even me, when it rains I have really good sleep. The rain sounds like a lullaby to me!

In my current location, I am not concerned about that. Being on the fifth floor of a condo, I never have to worry about flooding, and since our unit is two stories below the roof, leaks are also not a concern for me. Because of the cool, sleep-friendly weather, I am able to get a good night's sleep.

That's good that you only found one leak. Heavy, strong rain would soon find all the leaks in a house. I hope you stay safe.

Sorry for the bad weather. I saw media reports of how the typhoon is devastating. We hope it does no more damage.

It must be scary to be stuck in a typhoon. Take care.

Scary especially if the eye of the typhoon will hit your area

It's nice to see you back! Oh, I can only imagine typhoons - we don't get them here but we do have our concerns when it rains heavily. Hope it lightens up so you can get some good rest again!

Thank you!!! It's nice to be back here. It's been gray and gloomy and wet for a week now.

The typhoon already passed. A lot of areas were flooded, especially those near rivers or dams. What we have right now is monsoon rain plus some aftermath of the typhoon and the weather bureau said that there might be another typhoon coming in soon

My goodness. Isn't your house roof a concrete roof?

@aninditasen the most common here are corrugated metal roofing. We also have asphalt or clay tiles but it depends on house structure and on the owner of the house.

@rakski In addition to being very noisy, I'm also afraid of storms.
