Derby Vermont Animal Control Officer Renee Falconer was able to capture a male dog who had a bucket over his head on Sunday September 1.
The male dog had the bucket over his head for over a week had the bucket over his head from an automatic dog feeder had a hole in the end which limited the ability of the dog who went by the name Buckethead or Bucky as he was being called by Officer Falconer.
Officer Falconer used chicken nuggets from McDonald's hamburgers to get Buckethead's attention. Buckethead was able to eat the chicken nuggets by shifting the bucket when Officer Falconer was able to remove the bucket from the head of the dog.
Officer Falconer is now taking care of the dog until he regains weight and be placed for adoption soon. Hopefully the dog will be adopted by a loving family soon.

Poor dog! He must have been famished. And he could not drink water either.

The dog did lose weight by not eating food for about one week.
