Well I was awake, and got George's stuff done. He's outside and there's actual sun for him to enjoy. He decided to go out withut his shoes, which is okay. I go out barefoot all the time. He only rarely does this. As long as he's happy and wants to go out I'm fine with it. He needs to spend less time on the couch as it is anyway. It's always good when he wants to do something that's different.

He goes out once a day, now that the weather's calmed some he's going out at least twice. A far cry from what he used to do, but I contribute a lot of that to his not smoking.

@kaylachan When my brother-in-law had his strokes, which almost claimed his life, they made him quit while he was in the hospital. They gave him the patch because they said it would literally kill him if he didn't quit. I was sorry that he had to go through that after his strokes, it was all so much.

For his balance, I sometimes wish he'd wear shoes. However, he's usually only barefoot in the house.

He was out for about an hour, fairly typical for him. He's doing it a lot less because he quit smoking.

I am barefoot all of the time. Don't like shoes and only wear them if I have to go out around others.
