Midnight drama!

I went to bed at about 2:00pm last night. Well, I went into my bedroom! I put some videos up onto YouTube first, then I went to bed. I was going to watch some videos of Wynne Evans singing opera first, and then play some video games before going to sleep. At about 2:45am, Syd came downstairs. He doesn't usually come downstairs at that hour. I heard him talking with my Mum, and then he went to make a phone call. I thought it must be serious if he has to make a phone call at getting on for 3:00am in the morning. Then my Mum came into my bedroom, (I hid my tablet under the covers!) She said that Syd had got blood in his pee, and that they were going to go to the hospital, and Mum was going to go with him. I heard the paramedics come, and they checked Syd over. He said he wouldn't have to go to hospital that night, but he told him to phone the doctor in the morning, and then take a urine sample to the doctor. They told him to get some sleep. My Mum came back into my bedroom and told me they didn't have to go to the hospital after all, and I said, Yes, I know, I heard. Syd made an appointment with the doctor this morning at about 8:00am before I got up. When I got up and went into the living room my Mum asked me if they could have a couple of my empty spice pots to put the urine sample in! I said yes, and picked out 2 of the ones that didn't smell so bad! (They have all been washed!) They went off to the doctor for 11:00am, and said they might go straight from there to the luncheon club. I did some painting again today, which I'll talk about in another post, but when my Mum and Syd came back my Mum said that Syd had got to go down town to get some anti-biotics, and then back to the doctors for a blood test. That's where he's gone now. I hope all you lot are in good health. Have a nice day.

Yes, the anti-biotics seem to be doing the job. Thank you for your concern. Thank you very much. You have a good weekend too.

Hopefully the antibiotics will work quickly for Syd. I find that some jars retain the smell from their contents even when washed. I throw old garlic jars out because the smell stays in the glass somehow.

Yes, they do seem to be working, thank you very much. Yes, my little herb and spice jars definitely seem to do that! I get frozen garlic in packets these days!

@sharonelton These things always seem worse late at night, and a lot more dramatic. I wish Syd well, and more appropriately coloured pee in the near future.

Thank you very much. Yes, he might have panicked a bit. Thank you for your kind words.
