This is the second day of the Independence days holidays. In the morning, there was a joint prayer at the Cathedral in which the heads of several churches prayed for peace.
Later on there will be a military parade that I´ll watch in part on TV. The best part is when the military puppies are shown by their military moms. They are incredibly cute and they are at the stage when they are first bonding. Then the grown up dogs march with their owners. At that age they are already prepared to do many tasks, from rescuing people after an earthquake to discover drugs at airports.
I still don´t know how my day with Diego will be. He hasn´t arrived yet. We will eat the lentils for lunch but he told me that he did not want to eat a seafood risotto. So today I will see if a pork loin can be thawed for dinner. If if doesn´t thaw, it won´t be my fault.
What will you do today?

I would love to see the puppies and dogs. I miss our dogs so much. I hope Diego isn't too much of a bother. Enjoy your weekend.
Today I am getting my hair cut and then hopefully I will treat my husband's 2nd cousin to Red Lobster.

I'd love to see the dogs and the puppies too. I hope Diego isn't difficult - or too messy.

Interesting service dogs are apart of parade to show how they are heroes also. The lentils sound delicious. What are they seasoned with.
