Well, in the dryer. Still need to put it away, but at least I haven't forgotten about it completely. George just asked me for hot dogs. Just did a count. Might be hitting a store tomorrow to get some. Haven't decided yet. Glad he's asking for food, but wish he wouldn't put up a fight over his peg tube. I respect he wants it out, but eating two glasses of milk and four hotdogs a day isn't quite enough. However, there's been a spike in his weight, even if my scale is a few pounds off. But, then again, clothes and shoes do add up in a doctor's office and him holding onto the rails, too.
Up is up and we'll take it. Once he reaches the weight they want, then they'll tell me the best way to ween him from the tube. But it also hinges on the swollow study tomorrow too, to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
Well, here's hoping.

I will hope along with you and I also hope George can lose the tubes soon, Surely George is swallowing right if he keep gobbling up hot dogs,

Well, just because he's getting them down, doesn't mean he's taking in enough. There's to factors a doctor looks at, weight for one. Making sure you're not to underweight to where you're losing muscle. and the ability to orally take in enough colories to maintain that weight. The fact he says it hurts, is a bit concerning. As well as the return of his coughing fits. But, those are likely the result of not walking and getting enough fresh air. I mean, today he ran out this morning for about half an hour, but it's not a daily thing. He asks me to disarm the house so he can go out if he wants, but from day to day he doesn't know if he wants to go out or not.

@RasmaSandra Yeah. That's why I'm not trying to rush tube removal.

I changed the bedsheets today and have part of that washed and put away. Good feeling!
Sure hope the swallow study is favorable.

I don't know. I can only guess. The way he randomly complain about pain and discomfort has me concerned. It could be nothing more then him streaching his stomach out. I don't doubt it shrunk and became almost non-fuctional when his swollow wasn't working.

That might be enough for him. No one knows his body better than him.

Well, he hasn't been treating it well. It's taken months for me to get him to even do the minumal effort. He has a bit of a hard head.
