Today (well, yesterday actually, because it's after midnight here again) my Mum got a phone call from the doctor about an appointment to see about her feet, and they booked her in for 1:15pm the same day. So we said we'd go to the doctor, then go straight to the big Tesco afterwards. So that's what we did.
I went with my Mum to the doctor and waited in the waiting room while she went in. She left me holding a urine sample bottle that she'd got from reception ready for her review next week! After a while the nurse (well, she was a sister actually) asked if she could borrow me for a minute. She wanted me to see this scab on my Mum's foot, right underneath where she won't be able to see it, and she told me to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any bigger over the next two weeks, and she booked her in to see someone called Tracy on 9 October at 11:00am, to have a closer look at Mum's feet.
When we came out I told Mum I wanted to go to the toilet, so my Mum waited in reception while I went to the toilet. Then we went back to the car where Syd was waiting. He took us to the big Tesco then, which is just over the road from the health centre, but on the way the car was making this horrible loud beeping noise! Syd told it to shut up - but it was warning him he hadn't got his seatbelt on! He put it on when we came to a red light, just at the entrance to the big Tesco car park! We got to Tesco at about 1:35pm, which is over an hour earlier then we usually do! But we still told Syd to pick us up at 4:30pm!
When we got to the big Tesco I found a trolley and went in and got rid of the soft recycle in the recycle receptacle. Then I decided to swap my trolley for one that someone had left in the entrance to Tesco because the wheels were wonkey.
We went up on the lift. First thing we did when we got up into the main Tesco was get the TV magazines that we should have got yesterday from the little Tesco. Then I got a double pack of art magazines again, Leisure Painter and The Artist, and a stamping magazine with floral Christmas stamps. As if I haven't got enough!
I got a bounty bar for Syd that I also would have got from the little Tesco yesterday. Then I went and got 2 bottles of water. They weren't the ones that I usually get, they have red tops while the ones I usually get, Buxton, have blue tops, but at least they are water! There were only two left aswell. One was near the front of the top shelf, and I could reach that one OK, but the other one was right at the back of the top shelf! So I got my walking stick and was about to guide it forward with that, when a voice behind me said, Do you want me to get that for you? And I said, Oh, yes please! So this nice chap reached it down for me!
I got 1 prawn layered salad today, which is going to be for Friday, because I made a couscous and tofu salad this week, but there was less of it because I didn't have enough couscous, so there was only enough for 3 days instead of 4. (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday!)
Then we went to look for some things for my nephews birthdays in October. They will be 13. I saw some Halloween themed plush soft toys. I loved them! So I got one white one, which is supposed to be a ghost, and one purple one, which is supposed to be a bat! I said, If they don't want them, I'll have them!
We found the toys in their new home at the back of the shop, originating from The Entertainer toy shop. We looked at lots of stuff that were much too young for them. Then I saw some packs of puzzle cards for ages 12+ so not being able to find anything else age appropriate I decided to get them.
After that Mum decided she was getting tired and wanted to go and sit down on a bench, but she hadn't finished her shopping list! So I had to stand there writing things down as she told me what she wanted. Then she gave me her purse because she said it would be easier than running to fetch the money off her when I was at the till, and I added £20 to it to pay for the things I'd got for the boys.
My Mum was setting off for the bench I noticed a game which said 13+ on it. It's called Clipology or something like that, and you use streaming to watch clips and then you have to say what the film or TV show is from the clip and stuff like that I think. But I thought it would be good for the boys, as they usually use streaming services as opposed to DVDs. So I went over and showed it to my Mum and said it was only £6.50, which was 75% off! It should have been £25!
So she said, OK get it, even though she didn't really understand what it was! I
Then she went off to find a bench and I headed to the fruit and veg section where I got the usual stuff. Then I got my yoghurts and 3 bottles of milk because I didn't go to the little Tesco yesterday. I also got some Muller Rice's for my Mum and Syd for their pudding on Sunday.
I got my meat free bites and some ready meals for Mum and Syd. Then I got some chives for me and some cranberry sauce and sandwich spread for Mum. I managed to get some tuna and sweetcorn topping from the end of the isle! Then I got some soy sauce for my Mum.
Next I went to get a 50/50 loaf and some cakes. I got some cream donuts, the long ones not the round ones, for my Mum and Syd for their supper. I also got some Mr Kipling Apple and Blackcurrant pies.
After that I went and got some mini cheddars for me and some mixed flavour Walkers crisps for Syd. Syd wanted Honey Cheerios, so I got those. And then it was off to the frozen section.
After I'd got my vegan magnum ice lollies, I went and got some jacket potatoes for Mum. But both times they were far back on the shelf and I had to use my walking stick to edge them forward before I could get hold of them! Then I got some chicken pies and some cod in batter. I got my salmon chunks again but I couldn't get any salmon skewers, so I got salt and pepper prawns instead.
Then I got some toilet paper for me and some bird seed for Syd. And then I went to pay. I gave the guy Mum's club card, a double points voucher and the TV magazine voucher, and it came to just over £140.
So I went to sit with my Mum on the bench. It was still only 3:40pm! I didn't have a book to swap at the Tesco book swap today, so I opened the bag with my art magazines in and started looking at those.
At about 4:20pm we headed to the lifts. When we got into the undercover car park where the pick up point is, someone was sitting on the bench, I think she was a Tesco employee because she looked like she had their uniform on. So we stood to the side. But then a car came to pick her up, and off she went. So I went and sat on the bench. Then I noticed the lady had left her phone on the bench, and I said, Hey Mum! She's left her phone! It was one of those posh iPhone types, and it was pink. I said I should take it upstairs to lost property. Mum said to leave it and she'll realise she's left it and she'll come back for it. But I said, No! I'm not leaving it here for someone to pick it up and take it! So I took the phone and went up on the lift and went to the service desk. There was a bit of a queue so I had to wait, but eventually I got there and I said to the young lady, someone left this phone on the bench. I said I think she was a Tesco employee actually. And the lady said, Did you see a name badge, and I said, No, I was standing to the side. So she took the phone and said thank you, and I said My pleasure, and headed back down on the lift.
When I got back into the car park Syd was there with my Mum packing the bags into the boot. I said, There was a bit of a queue! Mum said, I thought there might have been. I took the plush toys and got in the car
When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

@Deepizzaguy That's good to hear. Not that you've had stresses! That you worked through them!

@sharonelton oh
Good that you can wake up that time. I can't recall me waking up at 9 or 10 in the morning.

Oh, I had a runny eye yesterday! I felt like I had an eye lash in my eye or something and it makes you blink a lot and your eye runs. It's very irritating and I felt awful. My nose was running too but it wasn't because of an allergy.
This morning I got up late again. I heard the alarm go at 9:00am and I thought, Oh, I can get up now! And the next thing I knew it was 10:10am!

@rakski Thank you.
I don't like it when I oversleep because it makes me feel weird. I guess it's the rushing when you realise how late you are.

I hope the girl gets her phone back soon. It was very kind of you to take it so she could find it later. I’m sure she’d be grateful honest people found it.
Today, I just tried to get things together for my sister. She’s speaking at a Foster and Adoption conference Saturday, so she’s making the two and a half hour drive tomorrow and is spending the night with my dad since he is close by. So I gathered some goodies for her, and some to take home to her kids. After making some calls to set up doctor appointments, I wrote some reviews, and did some online surveys.

It was a middle aged woman, not a girl!
Yes, I didn't want to leave it where someone might nick it!
That sounds great. That was kind of you.
Sounds like you were very busy. I'm glad you got that all done.
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

That lady will be very pleased to get her phone back. I have a mole of sorts on my leg and my doctor told me to take a photo of it with my phone so I'd know if it got bigger. Perhaps a photo of the sore on your Mum's foot might be helpful.

Yes, I'm sure she will. I wonder when she realised she'd lost it?
Hmm. Yes, that's an idea. Thank you for that.
