Good morning! It is the first day of October and that means, time to start celebrating the different holiday seasons in the last three months of the year! I have had my fall decorations up since the middle of September! Do you like Halloween and all the other seasons coming up? I like Halloween in particular because my mom loved it. She would put a ton of decorations throughout the house. what was your favorite Halloween tradition growing up and/or now? the only one I personally have now is my cat Onyx gets a gift and a few treats for breakfast from Halloween to the Fourth of July. basically every holiday imaginable i remember growing up on Trick or Treat night even when my sister and I didn't go around, my mom and dad wanted to be a part of the festivities so my mom would make us beef stew EVERY Halloween as she made hers in the crockpot and have it cook all day. then she made those buns one gets in the tube and we would rush through our meal so we could see the little kids get their potato chips and pretzels at my house they got those snack-sized bags of them One more memory. Once my mom put a can of tomatoes in her beef stew for Halloween and I never tasted anything so tasty! it was phenomenal, her best beef stew ever and she was a great cook to begin with! Do you have any memories of Halloween or traditions to share? Please i want to hear them!

Every year, we always visit our loved ones in the cemetery. We are going to see them again this November 1st.

we don't celebrate in a cemetery, at least not in my area as it is cold and sometimes snowy in November. But we Catholics have Masses for our loved ones who have passed

I am not sure how much I enjoyed trick or treating but I have always liked Halloween as it sort of starts the holiday season. Then Halloween evening if one watches TV the Christmas commercials begin in earnest!

I used to dress up for Halloween. I only once went out for trick or treat. We used to hand out candy when I grew up. Then later on, my uncle would get me to help him hand out candy at his church. I do watch scary moves around this time. I will be wearing my Halloween shirt I bought last year before Halloween and on Halloween I will wear a dress.

Halloween is a recent thing here, when I was a kid we didn't celebrate it but my kids love it. I don't have many decorations but I plan to buy one or two to put outside.

Halloween was never a big thing when I was young so I don't have any memories of it but I've enjoyed reading your memories.
