Spent close to $60 on paper towels and toilet paper

I bought Bounty paper towels (12 family size rolls) and Quilted Northern toilet paper (24 mega rolls) and it cost me $57.80.
Bounty had a $2 off coupon. Toilet paper was at 5% off, plus there was a $0.99 off coupon. I also had $0.42 in Capital One rewards that I used towards this order. And I qualified for free shipping.
In the end, Bounty was $33.49 and toiler paper was $19.99, not counting tax. While I saved on this order it seems like I still spent a lot of money on these items. Should be much less. But then again these are top brands.

@2ndchances24 I suppose it depends on how many people live in your house and what is their age.

@rakski haha. You can write down when you put the new roll in and see when it vanishes.

That is my hope. But hubby uses way more toilet paper than me so don’t know. One roll lasts a few days or so.

That's a lot of money to spend. I'll have to buy a few cases sooner or later. I suspect we have a ways to go yet.

@lovebuglena We could. We also have back ups in the supply chain and distrobution centers. So, that sucks. It's been almost a year and FGeorge and I will need to start stock piling again.

@kaylachan seems they reached an agreement. At least for the time being.

My mom said I spent a lot on Bounty. Costco much cheaper. But when she went to InstaCart to buy it at Costco it was out of stock. Hope we won’t have shortages on stuff because of the strike.

Inflation on items that are needed is bad news.

My mom told me the Bounty was expensive. But I didn’t find it cheaper.

The prices that I pay at Walmart are considerably less. Maybe it has to do with where you live. Have a good day.

I bought stuff on Amazon. That should be same price regardless of location. But actual stores are probably different prices depending on where you live.
I was looking for family roll size Bounty. Don’t think Walmart had that. They have many different roll sizes (Family, Triple, Double, Double Plus, Mega, etc.) for Bounty out there and I have no idea how big they actually are. That’s why I keep buying Family size as I know how big they are.
