What’s the longest time you have spent on a phone call? / myLot

With the invention of smartphone, communication has jumped to next orbit, when it comes to communication. We are now connected with each other almost all the time either by internet or by calls. In professional life , I have spent 12 hours straight in a conference call with team mates. In personal life, I believe I have done a call 4 hours straight a decade ago (2 hours and then disconnected and then 2 hours).I guess , I was talking on a lot of topics that day. Post same , I do not think I am spending more than 15 minutes on personal calls. What’s the longest time you would have ever spent on a phone call?

Wow, that's an impressive record! My best must have been about 2 hours straight, and there were a few moments of silence. With earphones, you can multitask on a call. "Let me check this" and five minutes are gone just to let them check.

I would say maybe two hours. That’s abnormal for me though as I have a hard time lasting an hour without getting a headache.

@AmbiePam After 2 hours , most smartphone auto disconnect calls and well 2 hours is not bad. Thanks for sharing!

Most calls are no longer than two minutes. But I've done an hour or more, although that's rare.

Twleve hours is unbelievable. You must have been exhausted. Hats off!! I do not recall spending hours on a phone.

Now that am not part of the corporate world, I can say the most longer call is 30mins for the whole week I guess and a few hours in messenger... and atleast 2 hours and half on video call for our weekly bible study.
