A plane trip from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon / myLot

Created a memory taking that flight from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon but not with a heart- in -the -mouth experience. It was a turbulent ride what with just 14 of us the plane did not have enough weight to take care of the turbulence atleast that is what I thought. Downj below was the Colorado river waiting to welcome me. I was in no hurry to get there. I am not an expert swimmer. Once landed we had a bus waiting for us to take us to the Grand Canyon and what I saw and experienced made me forget what I went through on that plane. We did not take the plane ride, all our friends told us that they suffered because of the turbulence, we enjoyed visiting. We were told that air turbulence in that area can develop almost every summer afternoon.

An air tour would have been really cool, but I did enjoy seeing it in person. Did you see that overlook they built in fairly recent years, where you can literally walk out over the gaping canyon? They didn’t have that when I visited, but when my dad and stepmom went they both paid the atrocious fee to get to walk out on the overhang. They both thought the experience was worth the money. For me, I would have been just fine without looking down at a glass bottom overhang.
