A family of four and their two dogs are likely to heed warnings from now on from the authorities when a major hurricane like Milton in approaching and they are told to leave their home, do it to the best of their ability. Hurricane Milton struck the residents who live in Bradenton Florida on Wednesday October 9 knocking out electricity and a tree fell down through the heart of the house trapping the residents inside. Because of high winds and trouble with the first responders being able to assist the residents, the rescue took place as soon as conditions improved. The family members and their two dogs were taken by the authorities to a local shelter. Link is foxweather.com/extreme-weathe...#FoxWeather

That is true since I have been through four hurricanes in my lifetime.

I would leave if the authorities told me I should.

I would do the same thing since being inside of a home with no electricity is dangerous.

Does anybody else get really upset when they read about these people putting their dogs in jeopardy too? The animals depend on us to use common sense. I’m very pleased they are all okay.

I hope that the victims of the storm learn their lesson to obey commands from authority figures since it is for their own safety.

I'm glad they were rescued. Maybe they will pay better attention to evacuation orders from now on.

I hope so as well since sometimes we all need a wake up call to obey authority figures.
