Yes, it doesn't look like a tree as yet, but the council has been on a tree planting spree and put this in front of our house. It was raining most of last month and now with summer starting, I hope the rains and the sun make it thrive. It's gonna be a few years before it gets big and we may have moved out, but I'm sure future residents will enjoy it. Do you have a tree in front of your house?

We actually have a few trees in front of my apartment complex. We used to have a huge one right beside my apartment building, but during a really bad storm it was uprooted and fell over. That thing was huge.

We'll have to look after it in summer.

@AmbiePam we had a huge tree in the area behind our home that was cut down because heavy branches started falling down.

We have trees all over our yard. I hope your tree grows into a big tree. Have a good weekend.

Our street is not very tree lined and this must have been the reason they went ahead and did this.

They have pulled out the ornamental pears in our village as their roots are very invasive. Most of us now have crepe myrtles.

@pitstop They hadn't really had time to do too much damage but there was some pavement that was being pushed up a bit.
