Air travel takes long hours. In the international airport of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport in Calcutta and waiting lounges are very comfortable. Travellers can spend 3 to 4 hours. There are shopping complexes where things can be bought also.

Some airport waiting areas are better than others. The shopping in these places are usually quite expensive.
