A to Z Movies I Grew up With: C

C was a little harder for me to pick a movie for. There are a few movies that come to mind when you think about the letter C. Cinderella is probably the first C movie that I thought of, and I thought about using that for the C place holder in this series. But I don't really remember watching Cinderella a bunch. I remember watching it a few times, but I didn't like it as much as other Disney movies. The movie I did watch over and over as a child was Casper. The live action one, with Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci. The one that looking back now, wasn't a great cinematic showing. But it was pretty good still. There have been several different versions of Casper, Casper and Wendy with I think Hilary Duff was also one that I watched a lot. So I guess you get a bonus movie on this list. Casper and Casper and Wendy. Have you seen either of these movies?

Oh, the kids and I loved the Casper movie you mention. My youngest at the time was fascinated with the ''angel'' mother who came back to talk to her husband and then faded away into the stained-glass window, oddly shaped sort of like angel wings. But we all loved the Casper movie.

I have not seen Cinderella or Casper. After the rumpus over the remake of Cinderella I shall continue to give them a miss!

I did see the Casper movie as well as the early versions of the Friendly Ghost who is misunderstood by adults not children due to their innocence.
