Barbara Stanwyck and Herbert Marshal in a lovely romantic drama. Margo loses her fiance suddenly and Jim is there to help her. She has her fiance's baby and she gives it up for adoption. They become close friends. Jim helps her get a job at a fancy dress shop. She learns of her son and the woman who is to become his step mom. She's a gold digger and cares nothing for the boy. Margo helps to let the real woman be known and it ends happily.
I love these type of movies. Where the good woman wins out over the bad. It was up lifting and fun.

I almost live through. Vengeance is one thing but, knowing the outcome is right makes it better.
