We went to the big Tesco again today. My Mum was a bit slow getting ready and she had to go to the toilet leaving me and Syd waiting for her to come back down so that we could go. It was already 2:50pm by the time we set out.
When we got to the shop I said to my Mum that I'd hurry up and sit on the bench before anyone else got there, but I was too slow and someone else did get there before me!
But there was enough room beside him, so my Mum sat down bedside him anyway! While she was having a bit of a sit down, I went and got a trolley and got rid of the soft recycle. Then I went back out to my Mum and we went back in and went up on the lift.
My Mum went and sat on another bench in the main shop while I went to the toilet leaving the trolley with her because I didn't know if the disabled toilet would be open, and if it wasn't I wouldn't be able to take the trolley into the regular toilet! As it turned out, the disabled toilet was open, so I could have taken the trolley with me after all!
After I'd been to the toilet I went back to the bench and sat there for a minute or two while my Mum gave me £200 in cash and her club card. I already had her shopping list in the zip on my bag where I put my keys. Then I set off round Tesco leaving my Mum sitting on the bench.
First of all I went and got some art magazines, Leisure Painter and The Artist magazines together again. I also got another stamping and card making magazine.
Then I went and got 2 bottles of water. I managed to get my favourites, the ones with the blue lid, today. I also got 3 prawn layered salads.
Next I went and got some pads for my Mum, they were actually in stock today!
After that I went to the fruit and veg section and I got the usual stuff. I didn't get a lemon again, and I couldn't get any edamame beans again. I got a red onion for Syd.
Then I went and got my vegan yoghurts, 2 bottles of milk and some puddings for Sunday for my Mum and Syd.
Next I went to get some Danish blue cheese for Syd, and then it was off to the vegan and ready meals isle. I got 4 lots of Fridge Raiders meat free bites, but I forgot to get anything for my lunch on Monday! But I suppose I could find something when I go down town shopping on Friday.
I got 2 beef dinners for my Mum and Syd, but the Toad in the Hole that my Mum wanted was out of stock. I didn't really know what to get instead, but in the end I settled for a fish pie for 2.
After that I went to the ingredients and sauces isle and got some sea food sauce and apple sauce. Then I went and got some tuna and sweetcorn sandwich spread that my Mum puts on her jacket potatoes.
Then I went to the canned isle and got a small tin of sardines, boneless in tomato sauce, for Syd.
Next I went and got some sliced rolls. And I got my Mum and Syd some Tesco's Finest Coffee and Walnut Muffins for their supper tonight. They are limited edition. Then I got some Mr Kipling Angel slices for my Mum and Syd. Then I got some set honey for Syd. I noticed that the set honey was lighter in colour than the runny honey.
I didn't need any crisps today, so I went straight to the teas and coffees isle and got some plain digestive biscuits for Syd. I went to look for my Matcha T-bags but they didn't have the Matcha in the Pukka brand, so I got some Typhoo Matcha T-bags instead. Then I got some caramel flavoured corn/rice cakes and some Love, Corn.
After that I went to the frozen section and I got some frozen red onion and some vegan magnum ice lollies for me. Round in the next isle I got some battered cod for Mum, and some cooked king prawns, some salmon chunks, some prawn skewers and some salt and pepper prawns for me.
Then I went and got some domestos for Syd, lemon citrus scented, and some kitchen roll. I had to get a double pack again. Then in the next isle I got some washing up liquid and some laundry stuff.
I went to pay, and the cashier closed the barrier behind me so no-one else could come behind me! It came to just over £133. I went back to my Mum and sat on the bench with her again. It was only 4:10pm when I gave my Mum her change, club card and shopping list.
I didn't have a book to swap again today. At about 4:20pm we started to take a slow walk back to the lift and down to the car park. We sat on the bench in the undercover car park for a few minutes again and then when Syd came we packed the bags into the boot and went home.
When we got home I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. I had a little look at my art magazines. In a few minutes I'm going to put out my stuff ready for painting tomorrow.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

@JudyEv Ah, OK, I see. Yes, it was. She might sit on a bench again this week, but she'll see how she feels on the day.

I hope you had a good sleep, and missed typhoon Kristine at the same time! I'm sorry you've been having such bad weather. I hope your red-alert situation is over now.
I hope you are well.
Try and have a nice day!

@sharonelton I am glad that we are not that affected with this typhoon. I felt bad that other places were greatly affected though.

@Shavkat It's good that you weren't too affected by the typhoon. Yes, it's bad that other places were greatly affected.

Thank you very much. I got most of what we needed.
I hope I have a good painting day today. I've got a little bit to do to a painting I started last week, and I'm hoping to redo the painting with the street lamp because I wasn't satisfied with the one I did.

@sharonelton They’ve moved things around in my depressing ASDA today and stuff wasn’t where it should have been. I hate it when they do that. And I wasted all afternoon trying to transfer all my stuff from my old phone onto the new one that arrived today. I’m no good at tech stuff. Started watching Ludwig on TV with David Mitchell. It’s very good.

Oh, no! I hate it when that happens too! Having to look for what you want when it's not where it usually is!
I
I'm no good at tech stuff either. That would drive me crazy!
I'm glad you are enjoying Ludwig.
We don't watch that.
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

I am working on sharing news stories as well as doing house cleaning like throwing out the trash from inside the home into the garbage can outside.
