Frugal Food: Lunch 10/25/2024

We had a meeting this morning at ten am that took about an hour and a half. When we got home I organized some stuff in the kitchen and bathrooms and we watched George and Mandy's First Marriage. (It's a good show. Especially if you watched Big Bang or Young Sheldon) A few minutes ago I decided I was hungry, so I went in the kitchen. I was going to heat up a can of Campbells steak and potato soup, but decided I didn't want to have to wash a bowl when I was done so I grabbed a Chef Boyardee microwaveable cup and some Kings Hawaiian Rolls and that's what I had for lunch. It was a rice with chicken and veggies cup. The little ones that you peel off the metal then put the plastic lid back on and microwave it for a minute. It's just over seven ounces and had 230 calories. I know people count calories. I don't but I know there are people who do. 6 g of protein too, which isn't a lot but it is some. I also ate 3 kings Hawaiian rolls. The Chef Boyardee is $1.00 3 Kings Hawaiian Rolls are about $1.17 (It's $4.68 for the whole pack, divided it by 12 rolls in the pack then multiplied the single roll price by 3) So my lunch cost $2.17. I know super spendy here. So that's what I had for lunch. What did you munch on?
