'Punch' is a word that comes from Sanskrit which means 5. Normally 5 fruit juices are added and those with a bit of style add the fifth as rum and then it is called rum punch
I have had on several occasions made a punch using fruits that were available from our garden but have never added rum.
For making these juices you need a blender.

@LadyDuck Did you not have issues with Customs clearance? When we returned from Singapore we got a few bottles of Martini and we had to pay Duty.

We always bought that rum when we visited the Caribbeans, it was so less expensive than here in Europe.

I didn't know it is a concoction of several fruits. I just thought it to be any fruit juice with rum which is what I do. I would mix an orange juice with rum and I call it punch.

@allknowing we usually have that when we were teens. Me, my siblings and my best friend will have our own concoction

That sounds yum! I had one to celebrate my birthday. I decided to order just a single glass since it was a bit on the pricey side. LOL
