A week has passed, my mother still remembers the suffering of her very stubborn sister, no one could persuade her to get the right treatment. Time continues to pass, since the end of April 2024 she has never been honest about the disease she is suffering from. When she could still talk she said it was just stomach upset because every time she ate she would vomit. 5 months passed and she was rushed to the hospital and the doctors had given up because no food or infusion could get into her body. Because the distance to get there is very far, we need 10 hours to get there. Unfortunately her (my aunty) condition is getting worse and unconscious, only gasping for breath. The next day we returned to Jakarta and precisely on October 21, 2024 at around 10 pm West Indonesia Time we received news that she had passed away. If we count the number of deaths, it is greater than the number of births this year.

There are many things that cannot be told here, every family has its own problems, including here, I still have to take care of my parents who are sick and have not recovered yet. All efforts have been made but nothing has been able to really work (still rely on medicines).

It's so so hurting to read that your aunty is no more. RIP! It is obvious from your description that there was a lot of suffering. And these are the hardest days of life. I am surprised to know that you take 10 hours to reach the hospital. Please don't take me wrong. But even in these advanced days where communication and transport is so easy, still you taking 10 hours is a lot of time, especially in an emergency situation. I mean, there's no hospital nearby? Lastly what you are saying means the birth rate is lower?

@May2k8 So there's no hospital in the vicinity? 100 kms of traveling is a long route.

@abhi_bangal There are many but there are no hospitals nearby that are empty, they are always full of sick people.

My residence is in a different area, approximately 100 km away, so it takes time to reach it. Why do I say the birth rate is low? In recent years, after the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs, resulting in a high number of divorces.

thank you, the problem is that the doctor also made her down since the doctor said that it was due to age.

Thank you, I can't believe that half a year has passed and my mother doesn't want to go back to her village anymore because she's afraid of remembering it again.

Now my mother feels that her life has no meaning even though she has tried her best to seek treatment everywhere, but the results are still not visible.

Yes. That is true. If we started to feel something bad about our health, action must be taken immediately.

That's why there is a saying prevention is better than cure, if it's already serious then there's nothing we can do.
