It's All so Witchy Isn't it?

Five more days. Trump with a one-point lead. Harris lost her New Hampshire lead. Oh my! I guess I will stick to wearing a pumpkin face and dancing around the bond fire. Celebrating the Earth giving forth and us being thankful. Whatever happened to traditions? Those witchy ways everyone turns up their noses to now? Samhain is a time of year. People nowadays seem to forget. Pointed hats mean evil for sure in their eyes when it was just the costume and part of a Quaker woman's fashionable attire back in 17th century. But make an ugly evil witch out of her if you must. And the broom riding not to mention pitchforks and poles. The broom is used in witchcraft, yes, to open the sacred space. But, also in a pagan fertility ritual where farmers would leap and dance riding brooms and such in the light of a full moon to encourage the growth of their crops. It was all about the crop back then. All about whether they would live to enjoy another bounty. Samhain signifies the end of harvest and beginning of "the dark time" or winter. Black signifies darkness or death. And orange signifies the autumn harvest. It's all so different nowadays and yet so much the same. The picture is from Pinterest.com

Interesting. As far as Trump's lead goes, I think Harris is ahead. I saw a pic of Trump in a garbage truck. Have a good weekend.

Yeah, and that backfired on him. He thinks he's so cute. I sure hope we are rid of him soon.
