Melancholy

Sometimes I am just sad. I don't feel like doing anything. I feel like nobody understands me, not even my close people. I feel less enthusiastic and don't want to eat anything( well, I am not that much of a foodie). I need a friend to listen to me and talk with me and offer consolation and support. Unfortunately, I don't find anyone at that time.
I guess that's a part of growing up. Not everyone gets that friend even when you are that friend for others. I am kinda learning to manage myself whenever I feel this way. Hopefully, will reach there someday.
Do you feel this way sometimes? Do you get a friend who can listen to you at that time?

Do you share that with someone? Or just deal with it on your own?

@Dreamerby Mostly I just deal with it. It's hard sometimes to share it with anyone.

Everybody feels so sometimes.I'm no exception. When I feel sad;I either start reading wildlife adventures or leave for long walk. This works. But now I can't have time to go for a walk.So I have now adopted a strategy.I stop thinking about my sadness.Instead;I begin doing something else;such as managing my store even as talking to my customers.Soon my sadness gets disappeared.

@Dreamerby Yes.As long as your mind is focused on your sadness;you can't find a way out.

That's a really good trick to ward off melancholy...engaging in some work.

i think it's okay to feel that way sometimes. what's important is that you get out of that state of mind and go on with your life. i hope you find a way to deal with it
