A moon crab that got on board an airplane whose name was not mentioned that traveled from Costa Rica to Denver Colorado was found by a flight crew on Wednesday October 23.
The employees at the U S Fish and Wildlife Service were able to take the crab to the Denver Zoo where the crab arrived in time for Halloween.

That is what likely happened to the crab.

It was good that nobody got bitten by those large-looking pincers, or the crab might have ended up on the menu instead of at the zoo.

I am in agreement with you that a stowaway crab is an odd event.

Perhaps there was a reason he wanted to get to Denver. Perhaps relatives at a zoo or something, Too bad no one can ask, So good he was taken to the zoo hopefully he found his relatives,

That's how invasive species get into our country! I'm glad the crab was taken to the zoo.

That is true since there are reports of how some animals from South America come here by boat or airplane.
