I have made it through the last 2 days and have come out the other side. Still shaking my head and really disillusioned by the American people. But, they have shown their colors and now we have to just get through the next 4 years and hope there isn't too much damage done. Stay strong, stay positive, and keep democracy in your heart no matter what happens. I know that people on that side have real concerns and I hope that at least some of them are addressed. Take care.

What I hate are all the posts here from Republicans that are saying the people who voted for Harris are ignorant. That's totally unnecessary. Have a good weekend.

I just consider the source. Ignorance and meanness are so prevalent nowadays. It is very sad.

I can still remember when Pinochet "LET" us vote because there was too much pressure from the outside and we, the middle aged people had to give classes to the young on voting. We had to do it at our houses and I had to explain what was liberty to vote. I was not telling them where to make their cross. Still, the next day, we were dancing in my living room with our daughters when some cops came to take my husband to prison. They should have taken me, but he did not let me. The cops at the police building said that somebody with power must have accused us. And they told me to bring him food and blankets. They would have him in the cops room, not in jail. I agree from my heart "keep democracy in your heart no matter what happens". I would like to see a purple US, not a red or blue. I know I won´t see it in my lifelime. But this is what you should tell your children. Don´t ever forget the sentence "United we stand, divided we fall".

How very sad. How scary. I would like to see a world of loving and respectful people. Not in my lifetime. I worry about what will happen after I am gone. United we stand, united we fall. Thank you.

Yes, and believe that Republicans can't be where they are forever.
