Buds have their own beauty. Many a time buds look prettier than flowers. These buds are that of the pink Ixora. We have them in different colours. When a bud shows up in a new plant that is sure to bring hope and cheer to a gardener. I have had that experience several times. There are some buds that are plucked before they bloom and one such is jasmine They are plucked and woven into strings. Women wear them in their hair. They bloom the next day spreading aroma around. We had some girls wearing these strings while coming to school and the whole class would smell of these flowers.
