Today has been a good day.

Today has been one of those days. Once I got through my long morning it was basically smoothe sailing from there. I was able to relax with my husband and get things I wanted done. George even ate several times today and had a glass of and a half of milk on top of his shakes. He didn't feel like going outside today, but did use the restroom several times today. So he is getting up and using his legs.
He asks for odd things but eating different foods. So I guess it works. As long as he eats, right?

I am glad to hear that he is hungry for food. I know he wants his tube out someday.

He would've been happy not to have to go home with it. But, well realistically I knew that wouldn't happen. He still couldn't swollow safely and had just started on soft solids. Not knowing what he could and couldn't eat, being extra tired wwhile trying to adapt to a normal pattern, it all wore on him.

Hopefully, he will keep on wanting to eat more and more and it can eventually come out. I know that he wants that to happen, and I am sure you do as well, when it's deemed to be safe to have it out.

He still has days where he doesn't ask for food. But it's just one of those things.
