Just to show how crazy my music tastes can swing, we have a traditional honky tonk era country song…and THIS.

Summer Wind - Frank Sinatra
The single before this was “Strangers in the Night,” and the one after it was “That’s Life.” And look which one I picked.
This originated in Germany, with German lyrics. Johnny Mercer gave it English lyrics, and Frank Sinatra gave it the royal treatment. Frank wasn’t the first one to record it in English (I think that was Wayne Newton), but does anyone really remember anyone after Sinatra did it?!

Not big on ol' blue eys but I do like this song, and wish there was a summer wind blowing out there now. 3:58 and already getting dark out there.
