Hey everyone! I've been busy and running around all day trying to get everything done today so that we can leave early in the morning for our Thanksgiving get together. We have about a 3 hour drive so need to get on the road early!
I made sure the chickens all had fresh water, got the dog fresh water, fed all the pets and headed inside to get the baking started. I took a break in between pet duties to fix our breakfast.
Once all done outside, I started out making brownies. That was followed with sugar cookies. Next is a cranberry orange coffee cake for our quick breakfast in the morning. It will be quick and easy with a cup of coffee.
I will also be making a cake and I think I will go with a Christmas theme. It will be a chocolate cake with red and green icing and some sprinkles. I also have to make the Moose Farts, but that one does not require any baking. If I have time, I will make a cheesecake with cherry topping.
In between all that I have been working on notifications. I hope to get those all caught up soon!
What are you up to on this Thanksgiving Eve?

Have a safe drive and don't wear yourself out too much. Can't believe the sun is out. My plan is laundry as usual for turkyday.

@2ndchances24 He did get up late, but it turned out okay. The kids all slept late. When called to tell them we were on the road, I got voicemail. She called back about 45 min. later and said she was just getting up!

@wolfgirl569 Plenty farts? I know...I know, but couldn't resist!!
I should of made a cheesecake too! I have been wanting one of those. We did have plenty though and the kids loved the brownies and sugar cookies. I will do a cheesecake and Moose Farts for sure for Christmas and something else. Maybe Ugly Christmas Sweater Cookies. Who knows!

@grenery8 My future new son in law made my daughter call me and ask what I put in the brownies and then said Rylan (grandson) also wants to know. I immediately think, "Oh no, my grandson broke out in hives!! And SIL did too!" Then she said SIL said they were the best brownies he has ever eaten! Way cool coming from a chef!
