In every country traditional knowledge is protected. Communities are paid money to spread the medicinal values of natural products. In India neem and turmeric have huge medicinal value. Patent obtained in USA on neem and turmeric were later rejected when Indian IPO challenged the origin of the knowledge.

That's good that the patent was rejected. Our First Nations people have a lot of traditional medicinal knowledge too.

yes traditional knowledge should be propagated all over the world. There are medicine companies in India who created tulsi tablets with huge medicial value
