What can I do with used coffee grounds?

After I make my morning coffee, I end up with these used coffee grounds. I've heard you can use them on plants to help them grow better and so I sometimes dump it on the lawn or pots or on my lemon tree. Is there a better way of using them for plants? Or is there anything I can use them for?

My dear mother of blessed memory said that, growing up in the Great Depression with World War II on its heels, her mother saved the coffee grounds and would “dry them out” in the oven, then re-use them (I think two scoops old/one scoop new). Different era, for certain.

my grandparents used it for plants as well, i don't know what else you can do with it. i've seen people using it as a face mask, but i think that's different kind of coffee

@pitstop you mix coffee with coconut oil and put it on your face for a few minutes.

They are supposed to be good for plants in the soil. Have a good weekend.
