Penguin parade

To watch this parade at Phillip Island we had to travel miles from our hotel in Melbourne, Australia.
Sitting by the sea on a cold evening the wait lasted hours. Then came one penguin wading and others joined one by one. They stood the way you see in the image and then slowly went to the land burrows to spend the night
This ritual we were told happens every single evening. And it is a tourist attractioin
I brought home a great memory

Very tiring though. The next day we skipped going sight seeing but instead did our own thing .

You are from Australia. I remember my nephew telling me that I had seen more of the US than he has and he is a citizen of America (lol)
It is so nice to sese them emerging from the sea one by one
