I told you about the Holiday in the Park light festival at Holmes Water Park in Tylertown, MS the in the wee hours of the morning. Today, I am sharing with you one of my favorite exhibits.
The photo plays tribute to the local Dairy Festival which is help annually in Tylertown. It is a big festival that is held at the park each year. They have all kinds of exhibits, fun games for the kids--catching piglets, watermelon eating contests, etc., and also craft booths for those that have anything to sell. I will be going next Spring with my Farmasi. There should be some cool and shaded areas!
Back to the Festival of Lights--this was one of my favorite photos because of the full moon in the background. This photo also captured the fall color of the leaves on the tree. I didn't capture the rotation of the brighter lights on the Christmas tree in the background or for the cows, but with grumpy behind us, I was happy to get a few decent shots with the full moon. There is another big light structure behind the Christmas tree, but I do not recall what that was actually of.
Several of the displays were themed to local businesses and events. I'm sure those businesses were sponsors of the light show.
