Our Little Trip Today to Brookhaven, MS

My husband needed a part for one of his projects and said it was in stock at Home Depot in Brookhaven. He asked me it I wanted to ride with him. I said, "today?" He said, "Yes." I decided to compromise and negotiated going the following day, which was today. I proposed that we go in the late evening and eat at Cracker Barrel on the way home. Bingo! He took the bait and I didn't have to cook tonight! Win-Win! He stopped for his part before we went to eat. I decided to wait for him in the car. He came back empty handed. I asked him what happened and he said out of stock. Their website said they had like 26 in stock. We continued on to dinner at Cracker Barrel. I told him he should stop at Lowe's in McComb on the way home. That was better than making a special trip back for the part. He agreed to that and we made it in plenty of time before the store closed. They also had the part in stock. That was our excitement for the day. How did your day go?
