OMG!! Can not believe it!

Tom and I went hunting rentals today. A lot of people don't advertise rentals. We found a couple. OMG! Can not believe the Health Dept would even allow them to be rented. The first one had a kitchen so small there was only room for 2 cabinets and one under the sink. Had a Black stove that I don't know if it could even work it looked so bad. The Frig also. Then there was a Water Heater less than arms length across from the stove...and it was not legal. There has to be a thing on top that regulates the water pressure...wasn't there. The bathroom needs calking, painting, and a better floor. The 2nd house would have been niced except it smells like Dogs, and the flooring has gaps between the wood boards. I almost fell walking through the living room area...and the floor was not even at ALL. The kitchen was better, but the stove was worse looking than the other one. The bathroom was okay, but the bedrooms would barely hold a full size bed let alone a Dresser. I just could not believe what I was seeing for $1,100 a month! Anyway, tomorrow is another day. We do not want to rent some place for more than that for fear we might not be able to pay the rent every month like we do now. We came home to find a For Sale sign in our yard. So I guess the landlord and that guy could not come to an agreement. Now I'm not sure if we have to be out by Jan 31st or not. This is so stressful.
