What's for din? December 31, 2024

My mother in law told us she wanted Subway, if we went and got it she would pay for it. So we say of course. The kids are both gone. So it was way cheaper than usual, but then the guy checking us out and ringing us up gave us 3 different coupons and took like $20 off our bill. So it was nice. Anyway. Chris gets the same thing everytime. All American Club toasted with mayo and salt and pepper on the Italian herbs and cheeses. His mom gets the same thing she always gets too. Ham and cheese on white. I get the garlic steak and cheese on Italian herbs and cheese with lots of garlic sauce and spinach and onions. So that's what was for dinner today. What went on the table fo your last meal of 2024?

My cousin fixed dinner at her house around 3PM and we had elk steaks, mashed potatoes, corn and rolls. I left cupcakes and cookies there for her grandchildren.

I had a Boca Burger, a banana, and a fiber brownie. My GERD is responding well to that.

Many people poo-poo Subway, but it remains to be my favorite. Even better if someone else pays for it. lol. I made a veggie soup of sorts with pork sausage, carrots, onions, potatoes, celery, broccoli, and cauliflower. Good eats.
