Interesting patterns on the pebbles and stones on this rocky beach

We visited a beach a few days ago that had interesting patterns in the rocks and the pebbles and stones. There were also some lovely colors on some of the rocks. I wonder how old they are and what makes them that way?! Any bright ideas? Do you find this rock pretty,?

It's interesting how rocks can have different pattents. I'd be putting that one in my pocket.

Is there any sand on thst beach? It does look pretty rocky. Yes some rocks are pretty.
