Yay weekend!! Received a late Christmas and New Year gift.

It's past 5 PM and I will just get up from my work and grab a coffee after a while. Yay!! It's Friday and the weekend starts. I came back home from work at 11:45. Cooked, had lunch and did some online hustles. I had a nap for about an hour and then I got ready for one session from 4_5. On Friday, I don't have any session in the afternoon but this mother has been calling from last few months requesting for a slot. I called her to discuss and I can give her slots thrice a week including Friday. So, now I will have one session in Friday afternoon and one the usual Parents education program at 7 PM.
My weekend mode has set in.
. I am sure that many would be excited today for the same reason..
The bell rang as soon as I was done with the session. And it was our apartment security guard distributing this goodie bag to all residents. You can see this in picture here. It's from the mygate app, the business patronized by our apartment. The app has become very popular amongst the apartment and gated community users. This was their gesture to thank all the 360 homes in our apartment complex. What a nice thoughtful way to make customers feel appreciated and special. The goodie bag has a small banana cake, a small plum cake, two small packs of salted peanuts and a handful of chocolates. My daughters are excited to see that 
. And they plan to have the cakes with their evening coffee in some time. They invited me too to join. So, I should be going there soon

We had started using mygate as of last year. There are 60 homes in our complex and well they have not shared any gifts with us. Guess they are treating you special. the app is great although their finance handling module needs to be much more improvised. It is a good thing to be appreciated as a customer and that is definitely a nice gesture from my gate to all 360 homes in your complex. I am packing my bag and closing my vacation trip and travelling back. And now onwards it is busy life . I would probably have sunday to relax and then back to the challenges. Happy Weekend ahead!

Hope that you fully enjoyed your vacation and rejuvenated well enough to take the challenges. Where did you go for vacation?
Even I was surprised to get this sudden gift. It's almost an year since we started using it in our apartment. Earlier, we had Adda for several years and they never gave us any such gifts.I have not explored many features there. Yes, there is always a scope of improvement.

@RevivedWarrior Adda was very popular and many used it. But then they started with a sudden high fees demand for use. Their business went downslope after that.
Kerela is beautiful. We have been there a few times and might visit it this year too.

I like the businesses who come with such goodie bags to their regular loyal customers. Diwali and New Year are two such occasions when you receive gift from them. .

@arunima25 This reminds me when I ordered for those medjool dates after tasting them that were given to me as a gfft. Exrremely expensive but I satisfied my urge.

I just got the taste of the unibic atta cinnamon biscuts. Rest were enjoyed by the girls. My husband also got just one biscut. We liked it. I ordered some more of the same.

Yes, it was indeed. Thoughtful of a business to make the customers feel valued. We have holiday on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on account of Pongal/ Makarsankranthi. So, it is a really long weekend.

Yes. The inside packaging was good and all delicacies were of good quality from well known brands. They provide service to many more apartments. Not sure if they did same to all.

It was nice. I didn't get to taste it. My daughters ate the banana cake and they really loved it.
